Cancellation and Refund Policy
thank you for shopping at Xcience Designs. We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade products. Because our shop offers both standard catalog items and custom creations, different cancellation and return rules apply depending on the nature of the product.
Standard Items (Generic Products)
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.
- How to Exercise Your Right: To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement sent via email to info@xciencedesigns.com. You may use our digital cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.
- Return Shipping Costs: You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Items must be shipped back in their original condition and packaging.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Goods (Claims Process)
If any product arrives damaged during transit, defective, or does not match your order specifications, you must follow our mandatory verification process to qualify for a replacement or refund:
- Inspection upon Delivery: You must inspect the external condition of the package immediately upon delivery. If the shipping box shows visible signs of damage, crushing, or tampering, you must note this reservation on the courier’s delivery receipt before signing for it (e.g., writing “Damaged box” or “Received broken package”).
- Strict Timeframe: Any damage or defect must be formally reported to us via email at info@xciencedesigns.com within 48 hours of physical delivery. Failure to inspect the package or notify us within this timeframe may result in the carrier denying the transit insurance claim, which will cause your claim with us to be rejected.
- Condition and Proof: The product must remain completely unused and kept in its original packaging. Your email must include your order number, clear photographs of the damaged product, and detailed images of the shipping box (including the shipping label).
- Resolution: Once the photographic evidence is reviewed and verified against the courier’s report, Xcience Designs will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you.
